Dancer bus will compete in “Aurum 1006 km race”

Two Dancer buses acquired by the largest passenger transport company in Western Lithuania Klaipėdos autobusų parkas (Klaipeda bus park) will help Palanga residents and city guests to travel to and back from the prestigious “Aurum 1006 km race” and will take part in the race events.

Competition organizers have also planned that Dancer bus will compete in a race at a special bus drag event. The legendary Lithuanian racer Darius Jonušis will sit behind the wheel of the diesel bus, while his son, also a professional racer, Justas Jonušis, will drive the electric one.

“Such competition will be a great opportunity for an event audience and spectators on TV screens to enjoy the public transport revolution happening in the world. Roaring and smoke-filled diesel monster versus lightweight, silent, and soot dust-free electric – said Vaidas Ramanauskas, General Director of Klaipeda bus park

“Aurum 1006 km race” events in Palanga will start on Thursday, July 16.

Dancer buses will run from Palanga center to the race camp free of charge from Thursday to Saturday from 10 am every half hour until the end of the race.
